The G749-180 flexible rapier cord weaving machine is developed on the basis of the original shuttle loom according to the needs of the market. It is mainly used for the various kinds of tire skeleton materials - cord fabrics made of nylon and polyester. The main parts of the machine adopt high-strength and light-weight carbon fiber composite materials and aluminum alloy materials; it has the characteristics of simple and reliable structure, convenient maintenance and high electrical automation. Compared with similar looms, it has a higher performance-price ratio.
The machine covers an area equivalent to a shuttle curtain with the same width, the speed is 30% higher than that of the shuttle loom, and the noise is 10--15 decibels lower than that of the similar shuttle loom.
